Italoven is the first and only South African based company that manufacture the Indian tandoor oven. Currently there is only one model available witch is casted from a refractory material capable of retaining heat to 1300 degrees Celsius. The tandoor pot is normally hosted in a stainless steel casing on castor wheels 800mm x 800mm standing 900mm high.
The oven is originally designed to be fueled with charcoal or wood, but a gas option is also available. Accessories like a lid for the oven, skewers or a special ring with hooks that hands into the pot will be made for the client only on order. |
